What is COVID-19?
COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a new virus. Symptoms include fever, coughing, a sore throat and shortness of breath. The virus can spread from person to person. Currently there is no treatment for COVID-19.

What COVID-19 is not…
We cannot emphasise enough that we DO NOT believe COVID-19 is a judgement brought down by God in response to specific sins. And although COVID is not a punishment sent by God we do believe God is at work in all things, and able to bring food from even the most difficult circumstances.

We feel that during this season, it is important to come together in unity and work through this situation. We want to confirm that we, more than anything, are looking for ways to be able to support and empower people during this difficult time.

What are we doing in response?
This is a difficult time for all, so to help us all come through this season, we are doing all we can to keep flattening the curve, and honouring those in our church, community, state, and country who have been, and are continuing to, work hard at facilitating the recovery of those affected, and minimising the risk to us all.
