Sunday Children's Ministry

Our Kids Church ministry operates in tandem with the morning gathering and incorporates 3 groups based on ages/school years.

We also have a designated room that parents and carers with children under 4 years old can use as a parent supervised creche area where kids are able to play and parents/carers are still able to engage with the service via a live video feed.

See below for descriptions of each group.

Junior Kids Church
For our youngest kids church crew (minimum 4 years of age) up to year 1, we run a structured program during the morning service incorporating music, craft, games and Bible stories.

The core principles for each week can be accessed via the Parent Cue app and we welcome parents to follow up the teaching with conversation at home.

Kids Church Lower Primary
Our primary school aged children from year 2 to year 4, join us in exploring God’s word through activities, worship and discussion. Featuring teachings from both the Old and New Testament, our lower primary program offers an engaging space for young minds to grow.

Kids Church Upper Primary/ Early High School
Our primary school aged children from year 5 to year 7 participate in a separate, age-specific program of activities and discussion, designed to help them grow, develop, and engage with their faith. Along with the lower primary group, these children are encouraged to participate in aspects of the main morning gathering before commencing their small group.

Kids Church commences after worship so that the children have the opportunity to participate in most aspects of the usual church gathering. Children in this age group are encouraged to take up the opportunity to serve the church through activities such as collecting the offering or welcoming people as they arrive.
